Riverside County PAL offers free flexible programming to local youth. Programs are curriculum-based and separated by age group to allow for youth to learn from their peers in a safe age-appropriate space with positive role models. Programs offer engaging activities, structured discussions, and peer support.

Riverside County PAL is dedicated to developing the relationships between kids, cops, and their community through SAFE, healthy, and consistent mentoring. Our PAL provides youth opportunities for positive character development, exposure to local resources, and the necessary life skills to become agents of change and empowered leaders within their community. Adult mentors include a variety of local law enforcement personnel, nonprofit advocates, and community members who provide unique perspectives to PAL youth and meaningful opportunities for modeling good citizenship.

For the first time, we are offering a unique support opportunity to directly impact our PAL program through sponsorship.  All sponsors will receive their name/logo on the 2025 PAL t-shirt which will be worn by all of our youth when we attend outings. Hope Sponsors will also receive their name/logo on the 2025 Camp Hope camper t-shirt.

We are proud to announce that Riverside County will soon be hosting its very own Camp HOPE program, specifically designed for youth impacted by interpersonal violence. Camp HOPE America is the nation’s leading year-round camping and mentoring program for children and teens who have experienced trauma, especially domestic violence. Through a trauma-informed, healing-centered approach, Camp HOPE creates pathways for young people to believe in themselves, in others, and in their dreams. We look forward to launching Camp HOPE here in Riverside County and making a lasting impact on the lives of our most vulnerable youth. We know this program will be transformative, and we can’t wait to begin this journey together.
